The Doctor From Gallifrey 

- Karen Gillan is to star in new independent comedy film "Not Another Happy Ending".  Gillan plays a beautiful but eccentric writer of miserable, but best selling fiction who’s blocked on her latest novel since she became successful and happy. In a bid to break her block, her publisher (played by Emun Elliott) sets about trying to make her life more miserable, only to realize he is in love with her.

Production is set for late 2011/early 2012 which begs the question when will series 7 be filmed? And perhaps we won't see Amy Pond as a proper companion next year?

- Matt Smith has said: "I’m shooting for the title of the actor who played the Doctor the longest. Now, that’s a title I’d be proud to have."  Excellent news!

- Eight Doctor Pal McGann is starring in BBC1 crime drama "New Tricks" next week (9PM 8th Aug, BBC1)
