- An international version of BBC iPlayer has been launched on iPad today for parts of Europe. The application enables those in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Ireland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland to watch a variety of programming from the BBC's archive, including Doctor Who. 

- Classic Series Actor, Robert Cartland (Rills in 'Galaxy 4' & Malpha in 'Mission to the Unknown') has died. R.I.P.
