Last night there was a big Doctor Who press event which included a screening of the next episode, Let's Kill Hitler, and a question and answer session with Steven Moffat, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. We have zoomed all over the internet and collected all the best news and put it right here. And don't worry, there are no spoilers so feel free so carry on reading.

Let's Kill Hitler- 10 Teasers

1. Some time has passed since the end of A Good Man Goes to War.

2. The opening shot is similar to one in series 5, but not for long!

3. There may be someone new taking a trip in the TARDIS…

4. The Doctor’s fame has spread even further, but not everyone is as hostile as the Clerics.

5. We find out why the Titanic sank.

6. Alex Kingston steals some clothes. And most of the scenes she’s in.

7. Some familiar faces are glimpsed, and they don’t make the Doctor happy.

8. The Beano may have been the inspiration for one plot thread!

9. The Doctor’s death is a fixed point in time, apparently.

10. Remember, the Doctor lies. And so does Steven Moffat.

Rest of Series 6 Info

- A dalek will appear at some point in series 6, despite the fact that Moffat said he was giving them a rest. He said "it's almost like I lie sometimes". The appearence is likely to be brief and probably only a cameo.

- Also possibly appearing is a cameo from Billie Piper and maybe even Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate as well. We struggled to confirm this but several sources seem to be reporting it. It could be a flashback of some kind.

- When asked "Could there be a shock regeneration in time for Christmas?" Moffat replied with "There could. Trust nothing and no one!"

- "David Walliams plays a submissive mole in Episode 11" according to Karen Gillan.

- Moffat said: "More dark sides of the Doctor to come, But he's still fundamentally a nice man".

- There will be more references to older Who episodes. Moffat said: "it's what I do instead of fun".

Other Stuff

- There WILL be a new companion for series 7. This pretty much confirms the fact that Rory and Amy are leaving the TARDIS and will only return for some guest roles, though of course we cannot confirm that at this stage!

- Arthur Darvill said "Rory's an action hero. That's why I was cast". At this Karen Gillan could not resist giggling.

- Moffat said: "it's not that complicated to write when you know how it ends"

- Moffat has no plans to write a "Writer's Tale" like Russell T. Davies did after his time on Doctor Who saying: "It would be the same book by a more grumpy, shorter man"

Excellent stuff! And it has now been offcially confirmed that Let's Kill Hitler will air on August 27th on BBC1! Hurrah!
