According to The Mail on Sunday, Ron Grainer's Doctor Who theme will be one of 4 TV themes that will be played at the London Olympics Opening ceremony.
The newspaper went on about the use of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax" and The Sex Pistol's "God Save the Queen" but it included the full list of songs. The other TV themes are the 1954 BBC News theme, the Coronation Street theme and Sousa's Liberty Bell March (a.k.a the Monty Python theme).
We don't know which of the many versions will be used yet and it's making us wonder whether there will be a reference to the show in the ceremony itself. It's not alttogether unlikely for a dalek to pop up somewhere is it? Just a thought!
