- Showrunner Steven Moffat has talked about the show's 50th anniversary. “I’ve got various plans, but all I can say emphatically is it will be huge,” Steven Moffat tells TVLine.


“It won’t be just one thing…. We’ll be doing lots of stuff,” is all Moffat would concede. “The plans are quite extensive, and changing all the time. Oh my God, we will hit that year very, very hard indeed.”


And what did he say when he was asked if other Doctor's would return? “Possibly…. It’s so far in the future, it’s only a set of notions,”.


- BBC books have unveiled some new titles that will be released on the 13th October. The first is an updated version of the Doctor Who Encyclopedia. It covers every episode from 2005 onwards, including the Eleventh Doctor's first two series. The second is The Brilliant Book 2012, the official guide to series 6. - Torchwood: Miracle Day will now air in New Zealand at some point in the future as it has been aquired by Prime.
